Grand Canyon Reader Award Program

Students at Desert Sage Elementary School will be participating in the Grand Canyon Reader Award (GCRA) Program again this year.

The GCRA program is designed to encourage Arizona young readers to become better acquainted with recently published quality books and to honor favorite books and authors. 

Voting will take place after the new year.  All students are eligible to vote, as long as they have met the following requirement:

Picture Book Category: Read or have read to them 5 of the 10 nominated books.  

Non-Fiction Category:  Read or have read to them 5 of the 10 nominated books.       

Intermediate Category:  Read 3 of the 10 nominated books.
